Company's Terms of Trading
The content of this site is the copyright of Carpet Fayre Ltd. Every effort has been made to make sure all the information included on this site is correct and we are not liable for any inaccuracies that may occur.
- All prices for goods listed on trade price lists or otherwise supplied by the Company are offered on the strict condition that they are subject to alteration without prior notice and accordingly all orders are accepted on the understanding that they will be supplied at the trade prices ruling at the date of despatch or delivery.
- All orders are accepted by the Company on the express condition that they cannot be cancelled once cut, loaded or dispatched. This condition applies equally to stock and special order goods.
- Claims for damage or shortage will not be considered unless written notification is received by the Company or it's appointed carriers within three days from the date of delivery / collection.
- Complaints on goods or materials will not be accepted once cut, damaged, laid or fitted. All goods must be thoroughly inspected before being fitted as it is a clear condition of trading that onus is upon the customer to ensure the materials are free from all faults, flaws, soiling or other damages. In such circumstances where a complaint arises which the Company considers worthy of on site inspection, this will be carried out without prejudice to the Company's position.
- Under no circumstances whatever will the Company accept responsibility for labour charges arising for goods which have been subject to complaint.
- The title of any goods supplied by the Company shall not be deemed to have been passed unless payment has been made of the full contract price. And such goods may be sold in the ordinary course of business but the proceeds of such a sale must be held on trust for and to the account of the Company pending payment to the Company of all sums or debts outstanding or owing to the Company. In the case of non-payment the Company shall be entitled to repossess or trace the said goods or the proceeds of the sale thereof either in you hands or in the hands of any liquidator or receiver.
- Pattern books, swatches and other promotional materials are supplied on loan and at all times remain the property of the Company, but are subject to recall without prior notice at any time. Pattern books which become cut, damaged or mutilated in any way will be charged for at the full current replacement cost. Acceptance of our books will be acceptance of our terms and conditions under which they are issued on free loan.
- We record all telephone conversations for training and monitoring purposes.
- We reserve the right for orders of less than £25 to delay delivery until our van is next in the area.
- Carpet Fayre Ltd will not be liable on materials that are short due to customers own sizes.
- Any product brought through our Web Site, a fitting service is offered. Prices are available on request.
Terms
All materials ordered on the Company Web Site / Email will be paid in full before materials are cut / ordered.
All materials remain the property of Carpet Fayre Ltd until payment is received in full.
On the supply and fitting of carpets / vinyl, no deposit is taken. A Payment - Order Form is to be completed. And payment is due on completion of work.
Carpet Fayre Ltd can offer Credit Terms on request.
Full Terms & Conditions of Trading are shown above, and in our current Price List. By accepting goods and invoices, you are also accepting our Terms of Trading.
PAYMENT - ORDER FORM
Dear Customer
Should you wish for us to proceed, could you read checking all details are correct i.e. carpet choice and colour, sign and return thank you . Please retain the customer copy for your reference.
I hereby accept the estimate outlined above and authorize Carpet Fayre Ltd to carry out and order all relevant materials, relevant to the works described. Should Carpet Fayre be asked to move furniture / appliances, whilst every care will be taken, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused whilst providing this service. We will also endeavour to remove waste left over from flooring. It is not always apparent when we measure that doors or plinths need to be trimmed. If during the installation of your floor covering, we find that a door needs to be trimmed, this service can be arranged. (Not on the same day). Please note that there is a charge of £10.00 per door. Should I cancel the order after the materials have been ordered I am liable and will pay Carpet Fayre Ltd the full amount of the goods.
All balances payable on completion. All materials remain the property of Carpet Fayre Ltd until payment is made in full.
